On his first day in the office, President Muhammadu Buhari who formally resumed work at the presidential Villa today, Monday, went into a meeting with service chiefs who arrived the Villa shortly after the president resumed at the presidential Villa.
It is the second time that President Muhammadu Buhari would be meeting with the service chiefs since he assumed office.
The president who arrived the office at about 10am Monday morning went into meetings with the Vice president, Yemi OSinbajo, some presidential aides and some staff of the Villa.
And unlike the Jonathan’s era where such meetings had the Director General of the Department of State Services in attendance, the DG of the DSS was not in attendance at Monday meeting.
The meeting is still on going at the time of this report.
He is expected to make some announcements on appointments of Ministers soon.
Stay tuned.
