Two arrested over Gombe Motor park bombing – Nigerian military
Two suspects have been arrested by the Nigerian military over the bombing at the Gombe Line Motor Park in November, 2014.
The suspects, the military said, were arrested after a shootout with some troops in Gombe on Sunday.
“The two suspected high profile terrorists were eventually arrested following surveillance and intelligence operations that tracked them to a check point at Bajoga in the state,” Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade said in a statement.
Mr. Olukolade said one of the suspects was wounded during the shootout and was being treated at a military medical centre.
He said interrogation of the suspects was also ongoing.
