Abuja – The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather conditions in the morning hours over the central states of the country on Tuesday.
The prediction is contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Monday in Abuja.
According to the forecast, there will be prospects of localised thunderstorms over Yelwa, Ilorin, Makurdi and Bida axis in the afternoon hours.
NiMet also predicted that the coastal areas would experience localised rains in the morning around Ibadan, Owerri and Ogoja axis with localised thunderstorms over the entire region during the afternoon hours.
It also predicted that inland areas would experience cloudy conditions over the region in the morning with high chances of localised thunderstorms in the afternoon.
NiMet predicted that the northern states would experience cloudy conditions in the morning hours with chances of localised thunderstorms in the afternoon hours.
