GOV. WIKE'S MAIDEN INTERVIEW today







Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, of Rivers State has granted his first ever radio interview as Governor of oil rich Rivers State. The interview was on Rhythm 93.7 FM's Saturday breakfast show: Viewpoint, hosted by ace broadcaster Segun Owolabi.

The Governor spoke on a number of issues including roads and projects that were of immediate priority to the Rivers State Government. Some of the projects mentioned were Igwuruta / Chokocho road and road projects in Woji, Akpajo, Elelenwo, Oro-Igwe, Rumuawhorlu, Ogbunabali, Saakpenwa Ozuoba, Rumuolumeni et al.

Governor Wike also harped on issues such as the undue politicisation of the traditional institution, the scam in RSSDA overseas scholarships, controversy over the employment of 13,000 Teachers, Dissolution of Local Governments, Banana Plantation, security challenges, waste management and others.
He took questions from the public via phone calls and responded to them.
