Mr Worgu Boms with the outgoing governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi

The Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Port Harcourt branch on Thursday suspended the outgoing Rivers State Attorney-General and Commissioner For Justice, Mr Worgu Boms for his illegal acts against the judiciary and the legal profession.

This decision was reached at its meeting in Port Harcourt .

The suspension was announced by the Chairman, NBA Port Harcourt Branch, Mr Dennis Okwankpan.

The suspended outgoing Attorney-General supported the outgoing governor, Rotimi Amaechi to destroy Rivers State judiciary. An act that is unprecedented in history of the nation.

Without showing remorse for this despicable act, Worgu Boms used resources of the state government on behalf of Amaechi to shop for black market injunction to stop the inauguration of Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

Worgu and his boys went on an injunction shopping spree to Awka, Owerri, Abuja and Lagos. At every instance, they were denied the black market injunction and lambasted for their role in destroying Rivers State judiciary.
