Inauguration : Wike appoints acting Chief Judge, Acting President Customary Court of Appeal

In a move to restore the State Judiciary  to her days of glory, Rivers  State  Governor,  Nyesom  Ezenwo  Wike has appointed  the most senior  High  Court  Judge  in  state, Justice  Daisy  Okocha  as  the  State  Acting Chief  Judge.
The governor Nyesom  Ezenwo Wike and his deputy, Dr Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo   in a historic  ceremony were sworn  in  by the  Chief  Judge  of  Bayelsa State,  Justice Kate Abiri.
The governor  also announced  the  appointment  of  Justice  Christy  Gabriel-Nwankwo as the  Acting President of  the State  Customary Court of Appeal.
The governor  who made  appointments  while delivering   his inauguration  address in Port  Harcourt  on Friday assured  the people of  the  state  that  his administration  will  uphold the  rule  of  law  and  the  separation of powers to deepen  democracy  in the state.
